Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Wren, a personalized email briefing service. By signing up, you agree to them.

The service

Wren sends you a personalized email briefing based on the life context you share. Wren reaches out when it has something worth saying — at least weekly. Wren Pro adds a Monday weekly review, monthly pattern summaries, and more frequent briefings.

The service is provided as-is. Features may change, and while we aim for high reliability, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Your account

You provide your email address and life context to set up your account. You are responsible for keeping that information reasonably accurate. Each email address corresponds to one account.

Subscriptions and billing

The free plan is free with no credit card required. Wren Pro is a recurring subscription (monthly or annual) billed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation: Cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the billing portal link in your upgrade confirmation email or by emailing hello@wrenbrief.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. Replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to a briefing pauses email delivery but does not cancel your Stripe subscription.

Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 30 days.

Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price increase. Founding member rates are locked in for as long as your subscription remains active.

AI-generated content

Briefing content is generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. It is intended as a helpful personal summary — not professional financial, medical, legal, or tax advice. Always verify important information independently and consult qualified professionals for decisions that matter.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful or harmful
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Abuse the email reply system to generate excessive automated requests
• Share, resell, or redistribute briefing content for commercial purposes

No warranty

The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wren and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can pause email delivery at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any briefing email. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, reply delete my account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
